For the German Documentaries Association AGDOK Bjoern Jensen hosted a panel during World Content Market in Prague with the title "Co-producing with Germany". European producers talked about the German film market and their experiences in international co-production.

Bjoern Jensen was appointed by German Documentaries to supervise and organize all delegations of German documentary producers to co-production events and festivals world wide. Delegations to some events will be organized by Cay Wesnigk, Baerbel Mauch, Joerg Witte and Ira Kormannshaus. German Documentaries is an initiative of AG DOK and German Films.

New in our program: "More Shoes", an entertaining road movie of a young American filmmakers who sets out on a journey by foot from Spain to the Ukraine. "Across Kenya", the film follows ultra-endurance athlet Chris R. Howarth running 40 marathons in 30 days across Kenya to raise awareness for Kenyian street kids.

Ginger Foot Films takes up a set of new films in its program. Among them "Pilgrimages", a 12 part series on Christian and Orthodox religious sites and "Back to Earth", a feature doc on our dependency on oil, "I will Marry the Whole Village", a docu-comedy of a man, who decides to marry all the single men in his village and "The Long Road though Balkan History", a road movie about two authors, from Serbia and Croatia, who look at their common past and where the road might lead them in the future. Another award winning film is the documentary "Where The Streets Have No Name" about an Australian Doctor who has built an aid organization to prevent kids for having to sell themselves to pedophiles just to get their daily bread.

"Forgotten Sex Slaves - The Comfort Women of the Philippines". Crisanta Alcaraz reads testimonials of Philipino women, who were victimized as sex slaves during WW II by Japanese soldiers.

Bjoern Jensen offers again production workshops at Movie College. The workshops start with Module 1: Media Law. Schedules for the following workshops can be accessed via the website of Movie College.

Sonja Kulkarni received frist price of Bavarian Televisions and Telepool GmbH's Documentary Competition 2011 for her filmproject "IN THE MIRROR OF HORSES". The price comes with a personal cheque of 5.000 Euro and a co-production offer of a maximum of 240.000 Euro. Bjoern Jensen was involved in the development of the project.

Premiere of the feature documentations ""I am your Labyrinth. Wolfgang Rihm, Nietzsche. Dionysos" and "Wolfgang Rihm. Dionysos. Szenen und Dithyramben. Eine Opernfantasie" on Munich International Film Festival. Bjoern Jensen was supervising producer on both films.

"State of Suspension" had its world premiere in the competition section of Levante International Film Festival in Bary, Italy.

Thessalonikki International Film Festival. The feature film project "The Debt" (Production 2K Films, Athens), in which Ginger Foot Films is involved as a coproducer was selected for the coproduction market Agora. Bjoern and Crisanta Jensen together with George Kalomenopoulos of 2K Films did not only meet distribution and coproduction partners for "The Debt" but also for the feature film "Eden of Manila".

Ginger Foot Films attends MIPCOM in Cannes, the sister market of MIPTV, which is held in April every year. This year Ginger Foot Films was selected by Media and could use the extensive networking opportunities of the Media stand.

Premiere of the marionette film "WHERE IS WHO I WAS AND AM". The Forum Cinema in Munich was crowded when invited guests and members of the film team saw the expressionistic film by Matthias Bundschuh film for the first time. The digital 2k projection was crystal clear and allowed to enjoy the full quality of Helmfried Kobers pictures shot in RED 4K mode. The film will go o a festival run and is now available on DVD and VOD before it is shown on TV (Bavarian TV, SWR and Arte) around mid 2010.

"UNDER THE ICE" was awarded Best Documentary on the International Film Festival Kuala Lumpur 2008. The festival is being held for the second time in Malaysias booming capital Kuala Lumpur. The film was produced in coproduction of Kaspar Film and Ginger Foot Films.
